We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team and help ensure that every student has a chance to succeed. Volunteer opportunities include roles such as instructors, receptionist, clerical support, teaching assistants, and more.
No advanced degree or teaching certification is required to volunteer. We offer a range of training opportunities to support you. To volunteer at GLA, you must be 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or GED™, and pass a background check.
We seek volunteers who can build strong connections, foster positivity, provide encouragement, and demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and patience.
Teaching classes, assisting in classrooms, or mentoring students at GLA allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and contribute to positive change within our community.
