For 60 years, Greenville Literacy Association (GLA) has empowered adults in Greenville, South Carolina, by offering high-quality instruction in reading, writing, math, GED™ preparation, and English as a Second Language (ESL), with added support through College and Career Navigation.
As a key partner in the state’s workforce development system, GLA helps participants build employability through digital literacy, career readiness, pre-CNA courses, and employer and industry driven workplace-specific GED™ and ESL training programs.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, GLA is funded in part by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, ensuring that our programs meet high standards set by the South Carolina Office of Adult Education. We proudly collaborate with United Way of Greenville County, SC Works, Eckerd Connects, Goodwill Industries, and SNAP Education and Training to further enhance our community impact.
